North Carolina General Contractors are required to complete 8 hours of continuing education annually for license renewal. There is a 2-hour mandatory course along with 6 hours of electives required.
As an approved education provider with the NC Licensing Board for General Contractors, the Greensboro Builders Association offers CE courses, with discounted pricing for GBA members, throughout the year.
You have the option to register for a full day (8 hours) or select different dates for morning and/or afternoon sessions. We offer a variety of topics for the electives including NC Builder Institute (NCBI) courses.
Eight days of CE classes were offered in 2024. Planning is underway for our 2025 class schedule…which will include classes in the first quarter for anyone needing credits for their 2024 license renewal and/or credits for 2025.
