NCHBA 21st Century Building Expo

It’s not too late to register for the NCHBA 21st Century Building Expo & Conference. This year’s show will be held October 18-20 at the Concord Convention Center.  Featured speakers include Joe Theismann  and NAHB Chief Economist Rob Dietz…both are ticketed events.

The Expo Floor is open Wednesday from 11:00 – 2:30 pm and again from 4:30 – 7:00 pm for Builders, Beer & Banter Celebration…as well as Thursday from 10:30 am – 2:00 pm.

Housing Forecast Breakfast:  Thursday 8 am

NAHB Chief Economist Rob Dietz will speak on Thursday, October 20 for the Housing Forecast Breakfast. Dietz will discuss the national economic picture, provide state and local NC metro analysis, and present his economic forecast for 2023. Learn how rising interest rates and persistent supply chain disruptions will affect the housing industry in the coming year.

Be Pro Be Proud Celebration Launch:  Thursday at 10 am

This new initiative utilizes custom-built tractor trailers outfitted with virtual reality simulators to provide middle- and high-school students with hands-on experience in the skilled trades. The goal is to generate student, parent, and educator interest in technical professions.
