PWB: Empowering Women In Construction

In honor of national Professional Women in Building (PWB) week…we are celebrating the formation of our PWB Council this past year…along with the growth and opportunities for women in the construction industry.
You are invited to join us on Tuesday, September 12 from 4-6 pm…hosted and sponsored by Francini…for a special workforce development presentation featuring Nora El-Khouri Spencer, 2022 NAHB Woman of the Year. Nora is the founder of Hope Renovations…a non-profit organization focused on empowering women to pursue construction trades, providing a hands-on training program, with on-the-job experience with aging-in-place home repairs and renovations.
Presentation will begin at 4 pm…followed by a networking reception. This event is open to all GBA members. There is no charge to attend…however we do ask that you RSVP by September 7.
