NCHBA: 21st Century Building Expo
October 3, 2023 - October 5, 2023
Join industry members from across the state for the 21st Century Building Expo & Conference. Expo floor will be open on Wednesday, October 4 from 10 am – 2:30 pm and 4:30 – 6:30 pm for Builders, Beer & Banter Celebration…as well as Thursday, October 5 from 9 am – 2 pm. There are additional ticketed events during the show, including:
Housing Forecast Breakfast: Thursday, October 5 from 7:30 – 9 am – NAHB Chief Economist Rob Dietz will share his latest insights on issues affecting the home building industry, from inflation to supply chain disruptions. He will also share the latest economic data at both the state and national level. Tickets are $45 and sell out quickly.
NCHBA’s first-ever “Women in Construction Day” is Thursday, October 5. There will be a networking social from 10:30 am – 11:00 am, followed by a panel discussion from 11:00 am – 12:15 pm featuring three leading women in building – 2023 NAHB Chairman Alicia Huey, author Mollie Elkman who wrote The House That She Built, and 2022 NAHB Woman of the Year Nora El-Khouri Spencer. Tickets are $25.
In recognition of this special event, NCHBA has committed to purchasing 5 copies of The House That She Built book for every Professional Women in Building (PWB) member who attends and 3 copies for every non-PWB member that attends. The goal is to purchase between 1,000 and 2,000 books to donate to elementary schools across North Carolina. Make sure to register as a member of GBA #3440.
