School Supply Drive
August 5, 2019 - August 16, 2019
Did You Know: The average teacher spends $900 – $1,000 of their own money on classroom supplies each year. Started as a collaboration between Guilford County Schools, Guilford Education Alliance and numerous community partners, the Teacher Supply Warehouse is designed to help offset that cost by offering GCS educators new and gently used classroom supplies at no cost. GCS educators can shop at the Warehouse up to four times a year.
Join us as we collect school supplies this summer, sponsored by the GBA Young Professionals group, to help keep the shelves of the Teacher Warehouse stocked. Or make a financial contribution to help us purchase supplies.
High-Demand Supplies Needed
Dry-erase markers, colored copy paper, copy paper, pencil boxes and pencil pouches, pencil sharpeners, two-pocket folders with prongs, glue sticks, colored pencils, colored markers, hand sanitizer, facial tissue, kid-sized scissors, adult scissors, highlighters, index cards and sticky notes.
